About Us

School Nutrition Partners provides National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) management and consulting services to California charter schools. Founded in 2020, the firm carries the full weight of the meal program — approvals, claims, procurement, compliance, and audits — so school leaders can focus on their students. SNP keeps a deliberately small client roster, and every consultant on the team has a minimum of five years managing NSLP or CACFP programs, so schools work with senior people, not hand-offs.

Owner and CEO

Dr. Glenda Aleman has extensive experience with the NSLP and CACFP food programs for 15 years. She built and ran a successful SFA and Supper sponsor program with over 25 school sites for 5 years. She has first-hand knowledge and experience of not only managing a large SFA and supper program, but also of the day-to-day operations and complexities of serving students in non-traditional settings that many charter schools experience.

Dr. Aleman has worked in public and charter schools since 1997 — nearly 30 years as a teacher and administrator — and has specialized in school nutrition since 2011. She holds a Ph.D. in Education from UCLA.
